8-Bit Memories : NES Splash Screens

header26For a lot of us, Birthdays and Christmas as a kid meant getting new video games. We would quickly unwrap our presents and plant ourselves in front of the television enjoying our new games until we got yelled at. We suspect that’s pretty much the same for kids today, but on much more modern platforms. For those of us growing up in the 80s and 90s, it was video games on the classic Nintendo Entertainment System. For the sake of nostalgia we bring you a gallery of some of the splash screens from the games we enjoyed all those years ago in all their 8-bit glory. Our thumbs get sore just thinking about them.
