Lexus Introduces Next Generation IS
Lexus has released the first photos of the next generation IS compact sports sedan, and it’s quite sexy. The 2014 IS will make its world debut at the North American International Auto Show in Detroit on Jan. 15, 2013. A press conference will be held in the Cobo Center at 9:30 a.m. EST, and live webcast streaming of the event will be available at www.lexus.com and on the Lexus Facebook page.
The next generation IS features much of the styling and capabilities that were first included in the Lexus GS 350 that we test drove in Vegas around this time last year:
- All-new exterior featuring Lexus spindle grille design and Lexus-first independent L-shaped Daytime Running Lights (DRL)
- New interior design with LFA-inspired, driver-focused cockpit
- F SPORT exclusive interior/exterior features
