Great list. A lot of these are dead on. Great trip down memory lane, as I owned lots, and still retain some, of these toys (minus the Sectaurs (darn it), MASK (drat!) and the Centurions (meh). I even had 2 Madelman figures and the sent-away-for Mum-Ra. All these toys, and to a lesser extent their 1/2-hour commercials, really fueled a kid's imagination.

But seriously? "The Marvel toy line put out by Toy Biz in the eighties were nothing short of ..." crap. The barely posable Secret Wars toys were better than those.

The one thing I remember about"The Centurions" was the naming scheme they used for their guys. The airplane guy's name was Ace McCloud. The diver guy was Max Ray. The land-vehicle guy was Jake Rockwell. See what they did there? I sure did, and I loved explaining it to all the other kids in grade school just before they pummelled me for being a nerd.

Killer list! I was jealous of my friend who had Shogun warriors, but I did get the Godzilla of a similar size and they'd duke it out with their spring-loaded firing hands. And my favorite Star Wars figure was Han Solo in Hoth gear because he had a holster. Good times.

What?!?! No Manglords?
I loved the idea of severing their limbs after a brutal a fight and then sticking them back on. (It really didn't work so well but still cool concept). http://preview.tinyurl.com/yh8x98y

No Ghostbusters and Dinoriders, wtf? G.I. Joe #1?? Nothing was better than Transformers. M.A.S.K should've been higher. Knight Rider should've made the list for the KIT car alone.
